OVERVIEW

What it is. Alongside formwork panels, ILPA machines wood-based panels to customer drawings in its factory in Nave (Brescia, Lombardy): birch plywood, spruce blockboard, three-ply spruce panels and ILPA composite panels are cut, milled, shaped, drilled and finished on CNC machining centres and supplied as semi-finished products or as components ready for assembly.

Who it is for. Manufacturers of formwork systems, scaffolding and site equipment, machine builders, furniture and interior-design companies, packaging and transport industries, retailers and distributors of wood panels: anyone who needs large-format wood panels machined precisely and repeatably, in series or in small batches.

Over 75 years of wood processing, an in-house supply of certified panels (FSC® and PEFC™), industrial quality control – including 100% ultrasonic inspection on composite panels – and the ability to develop a component together with the customer through joint development programmes, as already done with the leading formwork system manufacturers.

MATERIALS

Birch plywood. BFU 100 phenolic glue, raw (BB quality) or phenolic-film coated; thicknesses 12–15–18 mm, formats up to 1500 × 3000 mm.

Spruce blockboard. Raw spruce core for veneering or gluing blanks; thickness 8–25 mm, length up to 5100 mm, width on request.

Three-ply spruce panels. Cross-laminated, 27 mm, with melamine coating or raw.

ILPA composite panels. STRATO-STOCK®, FIR-STOCK® and PUR-STOCK® with polyolefin coating and, on request, polyurethane edge protection.

COMPONENTS READY FOR ASSEMBLY

ILPA can supply not only the machined panel but the finished component: cut, machined, edge-protected, marked and packed, ready to enter the customer's assembly line. Examples already in production: replacement panels for framed formwork systems (Doka Xlife, Ulma Purmax), non-slip panels, STRATO-STOCK® panels for deck frames, blockboard blanks for the furniture industry.
